Due to the earthquake in Haiti, Wired on Words and Music will be donating all door proceeds from their monthly show to Medeçins sans frontières.
On Sunday January 24th Wired on Words & Music Show starts of 2010 with a special multimedia performance by the amazing Catherine Kidd. Returning from downeast for one night only, Catherine is well known for the years she worked in Montreal, where she became and remains one of the top spoken word performers in the country.
Joining Catherine will be fabulous post dub poet Kaie Kellough, with friends from his recent recording session at the Hotel2Tango. Kaie is the author of Lettricity, as well as the upcoming Maple Leaf Rag.
To round out the evening, slow dance master Sherwin Tjia takes us on a voice and video tour of his new graphic novel The Hipless Boy.
