This Sunday June 14th Wired on Words & Music is brewing in the back room of Le Cagibi. With early evening straight shots of poetry by Vancouver’s Jaia Christopher, then a blended whiskey of Montreal poets mixed with the trance improv music of Pharmakon MTL.

Finally we get to some single malts:

Our special guest is Nathanael Larochette, a fabulous and soulful poet/guitarist/singer visiting from Ottawa for one night only.

Our other special guest is the amazing Taqralik Partridge. On this—the anniversary of the Canadian government’s apology for sending aboriginals to residential schools—listen to what Taqralik had to say in “No Sleep for the Wicked Ain’t Right”
